The ECOWITT Soil Moisture Tester Kit is designed to monitor soil moisture levels and transmit data wirelessly to a gateway for viewing on a mobile application or web interface. The kit consists of two primary components:
2.1. ECOWITT GW3000 Wi-Fi & Ethernet Gateway
The GW3000 is a versatile gateway that collects data from various ECOWITT sensors. It features built-in temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure sensors for indoor data monitoring. It supports both Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity for data upload and configuration.

2.2. ECOWITT WH51 Soil Moisture Sensor
The WH51 is a wireless soil moisture sensor designed for accurate measurement of soil moisture content. It transmits data to a compatible gateway, such as the GW3000, for remote monitoring.

- Rapid Data Collection: Collects soil moisture data within 72 seconds when fully inserted.

3. Ghid de instalare
3.1. Configurarea gateway-ului GW3000

- Instalare baterie: Open the battery compartment of the WH51 sensor and insert the required batteries (typically 2x AA, check product specifications for exact type). Ensure correct polarity.

The WH51 sensor supports a custom mode for manual calibration, allowing for more accurate measurements across different soil types.

- 0%AD Calibration: Calibrate for low humidity conditions (e.g., dry soil).
- 100%AD Calibration: Calibrate for high humidity conditions (e.g., saturated soil).
Refer to the Ecowitt APP or the detailed WH51 sensor manual for specific instructions on performing custom calibration.
