1. Introducere

Thank you for choosing the Kismile 5-Cup Drip Coffee Maker. This compact and efficient coffee machine is designed to provide fresh, hot coffee with ease. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating your new coffee maker to ensure safe and optimal performance.

3. Configurare

Înainte de prima utilizare:

2. Wash the glass carafe, removable funnel, and reusable filter in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

4. For the first use, run a brewing cycle with only water (no coffee grounds) to clean the internal components. Discard the water.

4. Instrucțiuni de utilizare

Prepararea cafelei:

1. Deschideți capacul superior al aparatului de cafea.
2. Fill the glass carafe with the desired amount of fresh, cold water. Refer to the water level window on the side of the coffee maker for accurate measurement.

3. Pour the water from the carafe into the water reservoir at the back of the coffee maker.
4. Place the reusable filter into the removable funnel. Add your preferred amount of ground coffee into the filter using the provided scoop. A general guideline is one scoop per cup.

6. Place the empty glass carafe onto the warming plate.

8. Press the ON/OFF button to start the brewing cycle. The indicator light will illuminate.

9. The coffee maker will automatically stop brewing once the water reservoir is empty. The warming plate will remain on for 2 hours to keep the coffee hot.

The Kismile 5-Cup Drip Coffee Maker features a 30-second anti-drip system. You can temporarily remove the carafe from the warming plate during the brewing cycle to pour a cup of coffee. The brewing process will pause automatically. Return the carafe to the warming plate within 30 seconds to resume brewing and prevent overflow.

5. Curățare și întreținere

Mineral deposits from water can build up over time, affecting performance. To descale:

4. After the cycle, let the mixture sit in the carafe for 15 minutes.
5. Discard the mixture and run 2-3 cycles with fresh, clean water to rinse thoroughly.

6. Depanare

• Cafeaua nu se prepară: Ensure the coffee maker is plugged in, the ON/OFF button is pressed, and the carafe is correctly placed on the warming plate.
• Cafeaua are un gust slab sau prea puternic: Adjust the amount of coffee grounds used per cup. Ensure the water reservoir is filled to the correct level.
• Water overflowing from filter basket: Check that the filter basket is not overfilled with coffee grounds. Ensure the carafe is properly seated on the warming plate, allowing the anti-drip mechanism to function correctly.
• Slow brewing: Descale the coffee maker as described in the Cleaning and Maintenance section.
