This section provides instructions for installing your SURAIELEC Mechanical Pool Timer. Ensure all safety precautions are followed.

1. Mounting the Timer Box

The timer box is designed for both indoor and outdoor use. It features mounting holes and padlock holes for secure installation.

Use appropriate screws and anchors to securely mount the timer box to a wall or suitable surface. Utilize the provided knockouts for wiring entry and exit.

2. Wiring Instructions (240VAC)

IMPORTANT: Turn off power at the main circuit breaker before proceeding with any wiring.

1. Open the timer box and remove the inner protective plastic cover to access the terminals.
2. Connect the incoming 240VAC power lines (L1 and L2) to the "INPUT" terminals.
3. Connect the load wires (L1 and L2) from your equipment (e.g., pool pump) to the "LOAD" terminals.
4. Connect the ground wire from your power supply and the equipment to the ground screw inside the timer box.
5. Ensure all connections are tight and secure. Replace the protective plastic cover and close the timer box door.

For controlling multiple 240VAC loads simultaneously, ensure the combined capacity does not exceed 3HP. Refer to the internal wiring diagrams for specific configurations.

1. Setarea orei curente

After power is applied, the internal clock mechanism will start the dial rotating clockwise. To set the current time, manually rotate the dial until the "NOW TIME" arrow points to the correct hour on the 24-hour clock face.

2. Setting ON/OFF Schedules

The timer dial has 96 pins around its circumference, each representing a 15-minute interval. To set an ON period, push the corresponding pins outwards. To set an OFF period, leave the pins in the inward position.

• Examppe: To turn on your pool pump from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, push outwards all the pins corresponding to the 8:00 AM, 8:15 AM, ..., 11:45 AM intervals.

3. Comutator manual de suprareglare

The timer features a manual override switch with three positions: "AUTO" (Timer), "I" (ON), and "0" (OFF).

• AUTO (Timer): The timer will operate according to the set ON/OFF schedules.
• I (ON): The connected equipment will remain continuously ON, overriding any set schedules.
• 0 (OFF): The connected equipment will remain continuously OFF, overriding any set schedules.
