4. Configurare și instalare
4.1 Amplasarea pe desktop
Place the switch on a flat, stable surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the device to prevent overheating. Avoid placing the switch near heat sources or in enclosed spaces.

5. Operating the Switch (Smart Managed Features)
The GS308E is an Easy Smart Managed switch, offering basic management capabilities through a web-based interface. This allows for configuration of advanced network features.
5.1 Accesarea Web Interfață
- Ensure your computer is connected to the switch.
- Deschide a web browser and enter the switch's IP address. By default, the switch attempts to obtain an IP address from a DHCP server. If no DHCP server is available, it defaults to 192.168.0.239.
- Log in using the default username (admin) and password (password). You will be prompted to change the password upon first login.
