1. Introducere

The SCULPFUN S30 is a 5W diode laser engraver and cutter designed for precision work on a variety of materials. It features an automatic air assist system, an industrial-grade X-axis guide rail, and a robust frame, making it suitable for both engraving and cutting tasks. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation of your SCULPFUN S30.

2. Ghid de siguranță

Operating a laser engraver involves inherent risks. Adhere strictly to the following safety precautions to prevent injury or damage.

• Protecția ochilor: Always wear the provided laser protective eyewear when the machine is in operation. The laser is Class IV and can cause severe eye damage.
• Operare nesupravegheată: Do not leave the machine running unattended. Constant supervision is required during operation.
• Ventilare: Operate the machine in a well-ventilated area to dissipate fumes and smoke produced during engraving and cutting.
• Siguranța materialelor: Gravați sau tăiați doar materiale specificate ca fiind sigure. Evitați materialele care produc vapori toxici sau sunt foarte inflamabile.

3. Caracteristicile produsului

The SCULPFUN S30 incorporates several advanced features for enhanced performance and user experience:

• Automatic Air Assist System: Equipped with a 32-bit automatic air assist motherboard and an air pump, intelligently controlled via LightBurn software (M8 button). This system significantly improves cutting efficiency and cleanliness by blowing away debris.
• High-Pressure Air-Assisted Nozzle: Generates a high-pressure airflow of 30L/min, accelerating cutting speed by over 5 times compared to operations without air assist. Ensures clean cut surfaces.
• Industrial X-Axis Guide Rail: Features a precision industrial-grade X-axis guide rail, ensuring stable and accurate engraving and cutting without ripple patterns, even on small details.
• Sturdy and Durable Frame: Constructed from high-strength aluminum alloy, the frame can withstand up to 50KG of weight, ensuring long-term durability and precision. The modular design allows for future laser upgrades.
• Compatibilitate versatilă a materialelor: Capable of engraving wood, MDF, zigzag, cardboard, plastic, rust, circuit board, aluminum oxide, 304 stainless steel, ceramics, and dark stone. It can cut black acrylic sheet, cardboard, non-woven fabric, bamboo sheet, leather, and certain plastic panels.

5. Instructiuni de asamblare

Follow these steps to assemble your SCULPFUN S30 laser engraver. Refer to the detailed assembly guide provided in the box for visual instructions.

1. Despachetați componente: Scoateți cu grijă toate piesele din ambalaj și verificați-le în funcție de lista conținutului ambalajului.
2. Asamblați cadrul: Connect the aluminum alloy frame components according to the diagrams in the separate assembly guide. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
3. Install X-Axis Guide Rail: Mount the X-axis guide rail onto the frame, ensuring smooth movement.
4. Attach Laser Module: Secure the laser module to the gantry. Connect the necessary cables.
5. Install Air Assist System: Connect the air pump to the air nozzle and route the tubing. Ensure the nozzle is correctly positioned near the laser output.
6. Mount Limit Switches: Install the X and Y axis limit switches. These are crucial for homing and precise positioning. Users can choose to install or not install them based on their needs, but installation is recommended for repeated positioning accuracy.
7. Connect Mainboard: Connect all motor, laser, and limit switch cables to the 32-bit air assist mainboard.

6. Instalarea și conectarea software-ului

The SCULPFUN S30 supports various operating software. LightBurn is recommended for full functionality, especially for automatic air assist control.

• Sisteme de operare: Supports Windows and MAC systems.

6.1. Instalare software

1. Descărcați software: Obtain the latest version of LightBurn or LaserGRBL from their official website-uri.

3. Lansați software: Open the installed software.

6.2. Connecting the Engraver

1. Pornire: Ensure the engraver is powered on.
2. Conectați USB: Connect the engraver to your computer using the provided USB cable.

7. Operare de bază

7.1. Amplasarea materialelor

Place the material to be engraved or cut flat on the working surface. Ensure it is stable and does not move during operation.

7.2. Focusing the Laser

The S30 uses a fixed focus column and sliding device for focusing. Position the laser module over the material and adjust its height until the laser beam is at its smallest point on the material surface. This ensures optimal engraving and cutting performance.

7.3. Pregătirea designului

Import your design into the software (e.g., LightBurn). Adjust parameters such as power, speed, and number of passes according to the material type and desired outcome. For automatic air assist, ensure the M8 command is enabled in LightBurn for cutting operations.

7.4. Pornirea funcționării

Once the design is prepared and the laser is focused, initiate the engraving or cutting process from the software. Monitor the machine closely throughout the operation.

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your SCULPFUN S30.

• Curățarea lentilei laser: Periodically clean the laser lens with a soft, lint-free cloth and lens cleaning solution to maintain beam quality.
• Curățați resturile: Remove any accumulated dust, debris, or material residue from the machine's frame, rails, and working area after each use.
• Lubricate Rails: Apply a small amount of lubricant to the X and Y axis guide rails periodically to ensure smooth movement.
• Verificați conexiunile: Ensure all electrical and air assist connections are secure and free from damage.
• Air Pump Filter: If applicable, check and clean or replace the air pump filter to maintain optimal airflow.
