The HT118E requires 4 AAA batteries. These are typically included. To install or replace batteries:

Funcții specifice de măsurare:

1. AC/DC Voltage Measurement (V~ / V=)

Pentru a măsura voltage, connect the red test lead to the VΩHz input and the black test lead to the COM input. Select the appropriate voltage range on the rotary dial (V~ for AC, V= for DC). The orange backlight illuminates when voltage depășește 80V.

2. AC/DC Current Measurement (A~ / A=)

For current measurement, connect the red test lead to the mA/µA or 10A input (depending on expected current) and the black test lead to the COM input. Select the current function on the dial. The orange backlight illuminates when current exceeds 1A.

Connect test leads to VΩHz and COM inputs. Select the resistance function (Ω) on the dial. The multimeter will display the resistance value.

4. Măsurarea temperaturii (°C/°F)

Use the included K-type thermocouple. Insert the thermocouple into the VΩHz and COM inputs, observing polarity. Select the temperature function on the dial. Press FUNC to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

5. Măsurarea capacității (F)

Connect test leads to VΩHz and COM inputs. Select the capacitance function (F) on the dial. Important: Disrupt the power supply when measuring capacitance on the line and discharge all high-voltage condensatoare înainte de testare.

6. Frequency (Hz) / Duty Cycle (%) Measurement

Connect test leads to VΩHz and COM inputs. Select the Hz/% function on the dial. The display will show frequency or duty cycle. Press FUNC to toggle between them.

7. Test diode (→|)

Connect test leads to VΩHz and COM inputs. Select the diode function on the dial. The multimeter displays the approximate forward voltage valoarea diodei.

8. Test de continuitate (Ω))))

Connect test leads to VΩHz and COM inputs. Select the continuity function on the dial. A continuous beep indicates a complete circuit (low resistance).

9. Vol. fără contacttage (NCV) / Live Wire Test

Select the NCV/Live function on the dial. Place the top of the multimeter near a live wire. The device will detect AC voltage without direct contact. Weak AC signals will cause green indicator lights to illuminate, while strong AC signals will cause red indicator lights to illuminate and an alarm to sound.
