1. Instalarea bateriei

The timer requires 4 new AA alkaline batteries (not included). To install, open the battery compartment on the back of the timer. Ensure the battery tray is inserted vertically as far as possible to the ground. The compartment features a water-tight seal to protect the batteries from moisture.

2. WiFi Hub Connection (Prerequisite)

This RAINPOINT WiFi Sprinkler Timer 2 Zone model does not include a WiFi Hub. It requires a separate RAINPOINT TWG004WRF WiFi Hub (Lot Number After 202108) to function wirelessly. Plug the WiFi Hub into an indoor power source as close as possible to your router and the timer for optimal signal strength.

3. App Download & Registration

Download the 'RainPoint' app from your smartphone's App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Caută 'RainPoint' and install. Open the app and follow the prompts to register a new account using your email address. You will receive a verification code to complete the registration process, followed by setting up your password.

Once registered, you will need to add your device. On the WiFi Hub, press and hold the left button of the timer until the left and right indicators flash rapidly (2 times per second). Then, tap '+' in the upper right corner of the app homepage. Find 'WiFi 2-Zone Smart Water Timer' under 'Smart Irrigation' and follow the app prompts to complete the connection.

5. WiFi Compatibility

The device is compatible only with 2.4GHz WiFi networks. If you have a dual-band router (2.4GHz and 5GHz), please ensure you connect to the 2.4GHz network. If you need assistance with splitting your WiFi bands, please contact your internet service provider or router manufacturer.

Attach the timer to your outdoor faucet. Hand-tighten only to prevent damage. Ensure that the timer water inlet is higher than the water outlet to facilitate proper drainage. The inlet filter should be correctly installed and free of impurities to prevent blockages.

Control your sprinkler timer from anywhere using the RainPoint app on your smartphone. The intuitive user interface (UI 2.0) simplifies scheduling and monitoring.

2. Watering Plans & Modes

The timer offers three watering plans and two watering modes:

• Mod de irigare: Suitable for lawns and pools. Water duration can be set from 1 minute to 12 hours.
• Mod ceață: Ideal for delicate plants. Water duration can be set from 5 to 59 seconds, with intervals from 1 to 59 seconds.

You can set different start times and durations for each mode and customize watering frequencies for specific days (Monday through Sunday).

3. Automatic Rain Delay

The timer features an automatic rain delay function. Based on local weather forecasts, the system can automatically delay watering for 24, 48, or 72 hours if rain is expected or if the soil moisture is too high (requires optional soil sensor, sold separately).

For immediate watering needs, you can manually turn on the WiFi water timer for a duration of 1 to 59 minutes directly from the app or the device button. This manual operation will not affect your pre-set watering schedules.

5. Built-in Water Flow Meter

The timer includes a built-in water flow meter that tracks water usage. This feature allows you to monitor consumption over the last 10 days, helping you manage water efficiency.
