  2. Connect a USB-C power cable to the RX unit and plug the other end into a 5V/2A wall charger (not included). Ensure the RX unit is powered on.
  3. Switch your display device (TV/monitor/projector) to the corresponding HDMI or VGA input channel. A blue screen should appear, indicating the RX is ready.
  4. For first-time use, select the language by pressing the button on the back of the RX unit. Long-press the button for 2-5 seconds to confirm your selection. To change the language later, long-press for 10 seconds to restore default settings.

3.2 Transmitter (TX) Connection

  1. Plug the HDMI Wireless Transmitter (TX) into the HDMI output port of your source device (e.g., laptop, camera, game console, set-top box). Use the provided Mini HDMI or Micro HDMI adapters if necessary.
  2. Connect a USB-C power cable to the TX unit and plug the other end into a USB port on your source device or a 5V/1-2A wall adapter. The indicator light on the TX unit will illuminate.
  3. Wait approximately 10 seconds for the TX and RX units to automatically synchronize. Once connected, your source device's display will be mirrored or extended to the connected display.

Nota: Some HDMI output ports may not supply sufficient power to the transmitter. If the TX unit does not power on or the connection is unstable, ensure you are using the USB-C power cable connected to an external power source.

4.1 Basic Operation (Plug & Play)

The TIMBOOTECH Wireless HDMI system is designed for plug-and-play functionality. Once both the Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX) are correctly connected and powered, they will automatically establish a connection within seconds. No drivers, software installation, or Wi-Fi network configuration is required for basic mirroring or extending your display.

4.3 Multiple Transmitters to One Receiver

The system supports connecting up to 8 Transmitters (TX units) to a single Receiver (RX unit). This feature is ideal for multi-presenter environments, allowing users to switch between different source devices with a single click on their respective TX units. This also provides privacy by allowing only one source to be displayed at a time.

4.4 Smartphone/Tablet Mirroring (Receiver Alone)

The Receiver (RX) unit can be used independently to stream video from your smartphone or tablet. When used alone, the RX unit supports 4K resolution. Other connection methods with transmitters support 1080P.

Connecting RX with your phone:

  1. Ensure the external antenna is connected to the RX unit, and it is connected to your TV and powered via the USB cable.
  2. On your phone, locate the Screen Mirroring function (e.g., 'Smart View' for Samsung devices). Select the RX unit (e.g., 'RX-BF...') as the target device.
  3. For iOS devices: Go to your iPhone/iPad/Mac's Wi-Fi settings, find the Wi-Fi network named 'MiraScreen', and enter the password '12345678'. Launch a browser on your iPhone and access the IP address '192.168.203.1'. Click 'Internet', choose your router's account, and enter the password. Then, tap AirPlay Mirroring and select 'MiraScreen' as a target to auto-mirror.
