5. Instalare
The WALI GSMU001 monitor arm offers two installation methods: C-clamp and Grommet Base. Choose the method best suited for your desk.
5.1 C-Clamp Instalare
- Atașați C-clamp base to the edge of your desk. Ensure the desk thickness is between 0.39" and 1.8".
- Strângeți C-clamp screw until the base is securely fastened to the desk.
- Insert the main pole of the monitor arm into the C-clamp baza.
- Secure the pole with the provided set screw using an Allen wrench.
5.2 Instalarea bazei inelelor de siguranță
- If your desk has a grommet hole, remove the existing grommet cover. Ensure the hole diameter is suitable for the grommet base.
- Place the grommet base over the hole, ensuring the desk thickness is between 0.39" and 1.8".
- Thread the grommet screw through the base and tighten it from underneath the desk.
- Insert the main pole of the monitor arm into the grommet base.
- Secure the pole with the provided set screw using an Allen wrench.

5.3 Atașarea monitorului
- Attach the VESA plate to the back of your monitor using the appropriate screws and spacers from the hardware kit. Ensure the screws are securely tightened.
- With assistance, slide the monitor (with the attached VESA plate) onto the arm's mounting head.
- Secure the monitor to the arm by tightening the locking screw on the VESA plate.
5.4 Connecting USB Ports
Connect the two USB 3.0 cables from the monitor arm base to available USB 3.0 ports on your computer for convenient access.

6. Adjustments and Operation
The WALI GSMU001 monitor arm offers a wide range of adjustments to achieve your desired ergonomic position.
6.1 Reglarea tensiunii arcului cu gaz
The gas spring tension needs to be adjusted according to your monitor's weight to ensure smooth movement and stable positioning. Use the provided Allen wrench to adjust the tension screw located on the arm.
- Turn clockwise for lighter monitors (to reduce tension).
- Turn counter-clockwise for heavier monitors (to increase tension).
Nota: Keep the arm in a horizontal level position while adjusting the tension for accurate results.

6.2 Angle Adjustments (Tilt, Swivel, Rotation)
The monitor arm allows for flexible positioning of your screen:

9. Depanare
If you encounter issues with your WALI GSMU001 monitor arm, please refer to the following common solutions:
- Monitor sags or does not stay in position: Adjust the gas spring tension. Turn the tension screw counter-clockwise for heavier monitors. Ensure the arm is horizontal during adjustment.
- Monitor is too stiff to move: Adjust the gas spring tension. Turn the tension screw clockwise for lighter monitors.
- Monitor is not level: Check that the VESA plate is securely attached to the monitor and the arm. Adjust the tilt mechanism if necessary.
- Porturile USB nu funcționează: Ensure the USB 3.0 cables from the arm base are securely connected to your computer's USB 3.0 ports. Test with another USB device.
