1. Introducere

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your AWOW WiFi Smart Security System Kits, Model Smart-7. This system is designed to enhance the security of your home or business by detecting unauthorized entry and motion, alerting you via a mobile application, and sounding a local alarm. It is compatible with Alexa for convenient voice control.

3. Configurare

3.1 Instalarea aplicației

1. Scan the QR code provided on the product packaging or in the quick start guide to download the "Smart Life" app. Alternatively, search for "Smart Life" in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

3.2 Hub Setup

1. Plug the Smart Alarm Hub into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure it is within range of your 2.4G WiFi network. The hub only supports 2.4G WiFi.
2. Open the "Smart Life" app and tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to connect the hub to your 2.4G WiFi network. This typically involves putting the hub into pairing mode (indicated by a flashing light) and entering your WiFi credentials.

3.3 Sensor Pairing (PIR Motion Sensor & Door/Window Sensors)

Before placing sensors, activate them and ensure they connect to the smart alarm hub. This allows for verification of connectivity.

1. In the "Smart Life" app, navigate to the alarm system settings and select "Add Accessory" or "Add Sensor."
2. Follow the app's prompts to put the hub into sensor pairing mode.
3. For the PIR Motion Sensor: Activate the sensor by pressing its test button or removing its battery tab. The hub should confirm pairing.
4. For Door/Window Sensors: Separate the two parts of the sensor (magnet and main unit) to trigger it. The hub should confirm pairing. Repeat for all door/window sensors.
5. Once paired, you can name each sensor within the app for easy identification (e.g., "Front Door," "Living Room PIR").

1. In the "Smart Life" app, go to the alarm system settings and select "Add Remote Control."

3. Press any button on the remote control. The hub should confirm successful pairing.

4.1 Armare și dezarmare

• Armare (Mod Plecat): Press the lock icon on the remote control or select 'Arm' in the app. All sensors (PIR and door/window) will be active. The hub will sound an alarm if any sensor is triggered.
• Dezarma: Press the unlock icon on the remote control or select 'Disarm' in the app. All sensors will be deactivated, and the alarm will cease if it was triggered.

4.2 Home Mode

• Activate Home Mode: Press the house icon on the remote control or select 'Home Mode' in the app. In this mode, door/window sensors remain active, but PIR motion sensors are typically disabled to allow free movement within the home without triggering the alarm.

4.3 Funcția SOS

• Activați SOS: Press the SOS button on the remote control. This will immediately trigger the alarm and send emergency notifications to your designated contacts via the app. This feature is useful for emergencies or for individuals with limited mobility.

4.4 Controlul aplicației

• The "Smart Life" app allows you to remotely arm/disarm the system, check sensor status, receive real-time alerts, and manage system settings.

4.5 Integrare Alexa

• Enable the "Smart Life" skill in your Alexa app.

• Use voice commands to arm or disarm your security system (e.g., "Alexa, arm the sensor").

5. Întreținere

5.1 Înlocuirea bateriei

• The PIR motion sensor and door/window sensors are battery-powered. The system will send a low battery alert via the app when replacement is needed.
• Refer to the individual sensor's compartment for battery type and replacement instructions. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.

5.2 Curățare

• Wipe the surfaces of the hub and sensors with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.

6. Depanare

• System not connecting to WiFi: Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4G WiFi signal. The system does not support 5G WiFi. Try moving the hub closer to the router during setup.

• Limited sensor range: The effective range of sensors can be affected by walls and other obstructions. Consider the placement of the hub and sensors to optimize signal strength.
• Alarm siren not loud enough: The hub provides an alarm sound up to 90 dB. If this is insufficient for your needs, consider additional security measures. The system does not support external auxiliary sirens.
• Difficulty with app or installation: Ensure you have downloaded the correct "Smart Life" app. Follow the step-by-step instructions in the app for pairing devices. If issues persist, refer to the manufacturer's support channels.
