1. Introducere

The INNOVA 3100RS OBD2 Scanner is a diagnostic tool designed to assist in identifying and resolving vehicle issues. It provides comprehensive coverage for Check Engine Light, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) codes, along with essential service functions and real-time data monitoring. 2. Configurare

2.1. Conținutul pachetului

2.2. Conexiune inițială

1. Download the RepairSolutions2 app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your INNOVA 3100RS scanner via Bluetooth.

3.1. Citirea și ștergerea codurilor

The scanner can read and clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) for the engine, ABS, and SRS systems.

1. Connect the scanner to the vehicle's OBD2 port and turn the ignition on.
2. The scanner will automatically link to the vehicle and display any detected codes.

4. To clear codes, press the ŞTERGE button. Confirm the action when prompted. Clearing codes will turn off the Check Engine Light, ABS light, or SRS light, but the underlying issue must be resolved to prevent recurrence.

3.3. Oil Light Reset

Reset the oil maintenance light and view oil life information.

1. Navigate to the 'Oil Reset' function from the main menu.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions, which typically involve turning the ignition on (engine off), pressing and releasing the accelerator pedal a specified number of times, and then turning the ignition off.

3.4. Battery and Charging System Test

Check the health of your vehicle's battery and alternator.

1. Select 'Battery Test' or 'Charging System Test' from the menu.
2. Follow the prompts to perform the test. The scanner will display the battery voltage and charging system status.

3.5. Smog Check Readiness

Determine if your vehicle is ready for an emissions test.

1. Select 'Smog Check' or 'I/M Readiness' from the menu.
2. The scanner will display the status of various emission monitors (e.g., O2 Sensor, Catalyst, EVAP System). A green light indicates readiness, while a yellow or red light indicates incomplete or failed tests.

View a snapshot of vehicle conditions at the moment a trouble code was triggered.

1. When a DTC is present, select 'Freeze Frame' or press the FF/DTC tastă rapidă.

5.1. No Power to Scanner

• Ensure the OBD2 cable is securely connected to the vehicle's port.
• Verify the vehicle's ignition is in the 'ON' position (engine off).

5.2. Link Error / Cannot Connect to Vehicle
