6. Configurare

6.1 Montarea pe rack

The MIMO88 is designed for standard 19-inch rack mounting. Secure the unit using appropriate rack screws, ensuring adequate ventilation space above and below the unit.

6.2 Conexiuni audio

Connect your audio sources to the "IN" terminals and your audio destinations (amplifiers, speakers) to the "OUT" terminals on the rear panel. Ensure correct polarity for balanced connections.

6.3 Conexiuni de control

• Ethernet: Connect an Ethernet cable from the MIMO88's Ethernet port to your network switch or router for IP-based control.
• RS232: For serial control, connect a compatible RS232 cable to the RS232 port. Refer to the technical specifications for pinout details.
• Remote/GPI: Utilize the Remote and GPI terminals for external control signals as required by your system design.

6.4 Conexiune la alimentare

After all other connections are made, connect the supplied power cord to the power input socket on the rear panel and then to a suitable AC power outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting.

7. Operare

7.1 Pornire/Oprire

To power on the unit, flip the power switch on the rear panel to the ON position. The "POWER" LED on the front panel will illuminate. To power off, flip the switch to the OFF position.

7.2 Indicatoarele panoului frontal

• INPUTS LEDs (1-8): Indicate signal presence on the corresponding input channel.
• OUTPUTS LEDs (1-8): Indicate signal presence on the corresponding output channel.
• LED DATE: Flashes to indicate data communication activity (e.g., via Ethernet or RS232).
• LED POWER: Se aprinde când unitatea este pornită.

7.3 Controlul software-ului

The Ecler MIMO88 is primarily controlled via dedicated software (e.g., EclerNet Manager) over the Ethernet connection. Refer to the EclerNet Manager software manual for detailed instructions on configuring routing, levels, processing, and other parameters.
