2. Configurare și instalare

Follow these steps to set up your Digitus Fast Ethernet USB 2.0 Print Server:

2.1 Conexiune hardware

  1. Conectați imprimanta: Plug your USB printer's USB cable into the USB 2.0 port on the print server.

    • If prompted for a port, select "Standard TCP/IP Port" and enter the IP address of the print server.
    • Select the appropriate printer driver for your connected USB printer.

3. Operating the Print Server

Once configured, the print server operates largely autonomously. Users on the network can print to the connected USB printer as if it were directly connected to their computer.

3.1 Printing from Networked Devices

  • Ensure the print server is powered on and connected to the network.
  • Ensure the USB printer is powered on and connected to the print server.
  • From any computer or device on the network that has the printer installed, simply select the network printer from your application's print dialog and send the print job.
  • The print server will queue and manage print jobs from multiple users.
