Safety Information and Important Considerations

Follow these steps carefully for proper installation of Command Picture Hanging Strips:

1. Pregătiți suprafața:

   Clean the desired wall surface with rubbing alcohol. Wipe gently and allow to dry completely. Do not use household cleaners or water, as they may leave residues that interfere with adhesion.

2. Prepare the Strips:

   Separate the Command Strips. Take two strips and press them firmly together until you hear a distinct click. This ensures the interlocking fasteners are properly engaged.

3. Apply to Frame:

   Remove one side of the protective liners from the clicked-together strip pairs. Apply the strips to the back of your picture frame, ensuring they are evenly spaced and positioned for balance. Press firmly along the entire length of each strip for 30 seconds.

   Remove the remaining protective liners from the strips on the frame. Carefully align the frame on the wall in your desired position. Press the frame firmly against the wall for 30 seconds, ensuring good contact between the strips and the wall surface.

5. Reinforce Adhesion:

   To ensure maximum adhesion, temporarily remove the frame from the wall by gently pulling the bottom corners of the frame away from the wall until the strips detach. Do not pull straight out. Once the frame is off, press each strip on the wall firmly for 30 seconds.

6. Wait and Re-hang:

   Wait one (1) hour for the adhesive to build strength. After one hour, align the strips on the frame with the strips on the wall and press the frame firmly until each pair of strips clicks back into place.

The interlocking design allows for easy removal and re-positioning of the frame without removing the strips from the wall or frame. Command Picture Hanging Strips are designed for clean, damage-free removal when done correctly. Follow these steps to remove the strips without damaging your walls:

1. Remove Frame:

   Gently pull the bottom corners of the picture frame away from the wall until the strips detach. The strips should remain on the wall.

2. Locate Tab:

   Locate the small tab at the bottom of each strip on the wall. Do not pull the strip straight out from the wall.

3. Stretch Slowly Down:

   Hold the frame gently to stabilize it (if strips are still attached to frame) or hold the top of the strip on the wall. Grasp the tab firmly and slowly stretch the strip straight down along the wall, keeping your hand against the wall. Stretch at least 15 inches (38 cm) until the strip releases from the wall. Do not pull the strip towards you or at an angle.

• Strips falling off: Confirm the weight of the item does not exceed 15 lbs (or 16 lbs for four pairs). Ensure strips were pressed firmly for 30 seconds during both frame and wall application steps. The 1-hour wait time before re-hanging is crucial for adhesive bond development.
