4. Configurare și legare

4.1 Inspecția inițială

Before installation, carefully inspect the receiver for any visible damage. Ensure the antennas are intact and properly connected.

4.2 Instalare

Mount the R2008SB receiver in your model using vibration-absorbing material (e.g., foam tape) to protect it from vibrations. Position the two antennas at a 90-degree angle to each other to maximize signal reception and utilize the dual antenna diversity feature effectively. Avoid placing antennas near conductive materials or large metal objects that could shield the signal.

4.3 Procedura obligatorie

To bind the R2008SB receiver to your Futaba S-FHSS or FHSS transmitter, follow these steps:

  1. Turn on your Futaba S-FHSS/FHSS transmitter and select the appropriate model memory. Ensure the transmitter is in S-FHSS or FHSS mode.
  2. Connect a battery (4.8V-7.4V) to the R2008SB receiver. The LED on the receiver will begin to blink red.
  3. Țineți apăsat butonul Link/Mode button on the receiver for approximately 2 seconds. The LED will change from blinking red to solid green, indicating successful binding.
  4. Release the button. The receiver is now bound to your transmitter.
  5. Turn off both the transmitter and receiver, then turn them back on to confirm the binding. The receiver LED should immediately show a solid green light.

If the LED blinks red after turning the receiver back on, the binding was unsuccessful. Repeat the procedure.

5. Funcționare

5.1 Pornire

Always turn on your transmitter first, then power on the receiver. This ensures the receiver establishes a connection with the transmitter before any control inputs are active.

5.2 S.Bus System

The R2008SB features an S.Bus output port, allowing for a single cable connection to S.Bus compatible servos or S.Bus decoders. This simplifies wiring and reduces clutter in your model. Refer to your S.Bus servo or decoder manual for specific setup instructions.

5.3 Conventional Channel Outputs

The receiver also provides conventional channel outputs (1-8) for standard PWM servos. Connect your servos directly to the corresponding channel ports. Note that in FHSS mode, only 4 channels are available.

Before each flight or operation, perform a range check to ensure proper signal integrity. Consult your transmitter's manual for the specific range check procedure. Typically, this involves activating a range check mode on the transmitter and walking a specified distance away from the model while observing servo response.
