The MSD 8733 module features two rotary dials for setting the desired launch RPM. One dial adjusts in increments of 1,000 RPM, and the other in increments of 100 RPM. Combine the settings on both dials to achieve your target launch RPM (e.g., setting the 'x1000' dial to '2' and the 'x100' dial to '5' will result in a 2,500 RPM launch limit).

Start with a lower RPM setting and gradually increase it as you test and become familiar with the system's response and your vehicle's traction capabilities.

  • This can sometimes occur if the launch RPM is set too low or too high for your engine's setup. Adjust the RPM in small increments.
