The LEF-5 requires hardwired connections to other intercom units and a power supply. Each intercom in the system must be connected to an Aiphone RY-PA relay (sold separately) to enable door access control (e.g., electric strike) and integration with other devices like CCTV cameras or lights.

Efectuarea unui apel

1. Identify the desired intercom unit (door, sub-master, or master) you wish to call.
2. Press the corresponding numbered button (L1, L2, 3, 4, or 5) on the LEF-5 unit. An LED indicator above the button will illuminate.

The LEF-5 operates on a push-to-talk, release-to-listen principle. Depressing the VORBI button allows you to transmit audio, and releasing it allows you to receive audio from the connected intercom.

To remotely unlock a door connected to the system (requires Aiphone RY-PA relay and electric strike), press the BLOCARE button during a conversation with the door intercom.
