Configurare și instalare
Installation of the InSinkErator Badger 5 is designed to be straightforward, especially when replacing an existing InSinkErator unit. Always ensure power is disconnected before beginning installation.

The compact design of the Badger 5 (dimensions: 6.31"D x 6.31"W x 11.5"H) allows it to fit under most sinks. When replacing an older Badger series disposal, the plumbing locations are often compatible, simplifying upgrades.

Instrucțiuni de operare

- Ensure the stopper is removed from the sink opening.

- Scrape food waste into the sink opening. The disposal will grind food waste into fine particles.
- Allow the disposal and water to run for a few seconds after grinding stops to flush the drain line.
- Turn off the disposal, then turn off the water.
The Badger 5 is designed to handle everyday food scraps, including fruits, vegetables, and small bones. Avoid disposing of non-food items, large bones, fibrous materials (like corn husks or celery stalks), grease, or harsh chemicals.

If your InSinkErator Badger 5 encounters an issue, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Disposal Not Starting:

- If no object is visible, insert the provided Cheie Jam-Buster into the center hole on the bottom of the disposal unit. Rotate it back and forth until the impellers move freely.
- Remove the wrench, press the reset button, and restore power. Turn on cold water and then the disposal.
- Scurgeri: Check all plumbing connections for tightness. Ensure the sink flange is properly sealed.
