3.1 SZ202 Digital Multimeter Operation
The SZ202 Multimeter features an intelligent automatic range function, simplifying measurements. Use the rotary switch to select the desired measurement function and the SET key to cycle through sub-functions if available.

Figure 3: SZ202 Multimeter Panel Layout. Key components include: 1. Indicator light, 2. Digital display, 3. Data hold key (H), 4. Relative value measurement switch key (REL), 5. Function switch key (SET), 6. Shutdown (OFF), 7. AC/DC voltage (V~), 8. Resistance/Diode/On/Off (Ω), 9. Capacitor (NCV), 10. NCV, 11. mA AC/DC current (mA~A), 12. AC/DC current (A~), 13. Function turntable, 14. Current 10A red gauge pen positive jack input, 15. Red gauge pen positive input, 16. Black watch pen negative jack input (COM).
3.1.1 DC Voltage Măsurare
Turn the function turntable to the 'V' position. Connect the red test lead to the positive terminal and the black test lead to the negative terminal of the DC source (e.g., battery). The multimeter will display the voltage. For batteries, the positive and negative electrodes need to be divided. Common batteries are direct current.

Figura 4: Măsurarea volumului de curent continuutage pe o baterie de 12V.
3.1.2 AC Voltage Măsurare
Turn the function turntable to the 'V~' position. Press the SET key to switch to AC voltage mode. Insert the test leads into the AC source (e.g., wall socket). The multimeter will display the AC voltage. Household electricity is generally around 220V (or 120V in some regions).

Figura 5: Măsurarea volumului de curent alternativtage in a wall socket.
3.1.3 Resistance Detection
Turn the function turntable to the 'Ω' position. Connect the test leads across the component to measure its resistance. The resistance detection range is very large, covering appliance repair to chip-level diagnostics.

Figure 6: Measuring resistance on various components.
3.1.4 Diode and On-Off Beep (Continuity) Measurement
Turn the function turntable to the 'Ω' position. Press the SET key to switch between Diode and On-Off Beep modes.
- Dioda: Connect the test leads across the diode. The multimeter will display the forward voltage drop. For reverse cutoff, it will show 'OL'. Diode lamp beads can be lit.
- Bip pornit-oprit: Connect the test leads across a circuit or component. If the line is turned on (continuous), the multimeter will beep. Fuses are also detectable; if it is not common, it will not sound.

Figure 7: Demonstrations of On-Off Beep and Resistance measurements.
3.1.5 Capacitance Detection
Turn the function turntable to the 'NCV' position. Press the SET key to switch to Capacitance mode. Ensure the capacitor is discharged before testing. Connect the test leads across the capacitor. No need to distinguish between positive and negative electrodes for capacitance measurement.

Figure 8: Demonstrations of Capacitance measurement.
3.1.6 NCV (Volum fără contact)tage) Detectarea
Turn the function turntable to the 'NCV' position. Place the multimeter near a live wire or electrical component. The closer the distance to the voltage, the louder the alarm and the more indicator lights will illuminate. This function is useful for detecting breakpoints in wires.

Figure 9: NCV detection showing alarm and breakpoint identification.
3.1.7 Current Measurement (mA and 10A)
Important: Current measurement must be done in series with the circuit. Do not measure current in parallel like voltage, deoarece acest lucru va arde instrumentul.

Figure 10: Correct series connection for current measurement. The red test lead should be inserted into the 10A or mA jack, and the black test lead into the COM jack. The circuit must be disconnected and the multimeter inserted in series.
- mA Current: Turn the function turntable to the 'mA~A' position. Press SET to switch between DC and AC mA current. Connect the red test lead to the mA jack and the black test lead to the COM jack. Insert the multimeter in series with the circuit. This range is for very small currents.
- Curent 10A: Turn the function turntable to the 'A~' position. Press SET to switch between DC and AC 10A current. Connect the red test lead to the 10A jack and the black test lead to the COM jack. Insert the multimeter in series with the circuit. This range is for larger currents, up to 10 amps.

Figure 11: Demonstrations of mA DC/AC current and 10A DC/AC current measurements.
3.1.8 Data Retention (H)
Press the 'H' key to hold the current reading on the screen for easy recording.
3.2 B18 Highlight Voltage Test Pen Operation
The B18 Test Pen is a multi-functional tool for quick electrical checks.

Figure 12: B18 Test Pen features: Touch Key, Three-color LED, Anti-slip handle, Glue insulated handle, Battery compartment, Batch header.
3.2.1 Contactless NCV VoltagInducție electronică
Hold the tester pen and touch the touch button with your finger. When an AC voltage is detected around the tip, the indicator light will turn blue, and an alarm will sound. The sensitivity allows for detection along the line to find breakpoints.

Figure 13: Demonstrating contactless NCV voltage induction with the B18 Test Pen.
3.2.2 Line On-Off Detection
Operate as shown in the picture: keep touching the touch button when measuring. The green light of the indicator light being on indicates that the line is unobstructed (continuity).

Figure 14: Line On-Off Detection using the B18 Test Pen.
3.2.3 Naught/Live Line Identification
Hold the tester pen and touch the touch button. Insert the tip into a socket or near a wire.
- Linie zero: The indicator light is green, and there is no beep.
- Linie live: The indicator light is red and accompanied by a beep.

3.2.4 Funcția șurubelniței
The B18 Test Pen features a durable Phillips/Slotted screwdriver nib for various applications.
4. Întreținere
4.1 Îngrijire generală
- Keep the instruments clean and dry. Wipe with a soft, damp pânză dacă este necesar.
- Avoid exposing the instruments to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Nu utilizați agenți de curățare abrazivi sau solvenți.
4.2 Înlocuirea bateriei
Replace batteries when the low power indicator appears on the display. For long-term storage, it is best to remove the batteries to prevent battery corrosion of other internal components of the instrument.

5. Depanare
5.1 Precauții generale
- Siguranța pe primul loc: Do not touch the probes directly with your hands to avoid electric shock and ensure personal safety during testing.
- Inspectați sondele: Before use, inspect the test probes to ensure there is no damaged insulation or exposed metal.
- Correct Range: If you do not know the magnitude of the voltage or current to be measured, start with the highest range and then select the appropriate range based on the measured value.
5.2 Specific Measurement Issues
- Current Measurement Errors: Always measure current in series with the circuit. Measuring current in parallel (like voltage) will damage the instrument. Ensure the correct input jack (mA or 10A) is used for the expected current range.
- Capacitance Measurement Inaccuracy: Always discharge capacitors before measuring to prevent damage to the multimeter and ensure accurate readings.
- Multimetrul nu pornește: Verificați instalarea bateriilor și asigurați-vă că bateriile nu sunt descărcate.
- Test Pen Not Responding: Ensure the battery in the B18 Test Pen is correctly installed and has sufficient charge. Ensure your finger is making full contact with the touch key when measuring contact or induction.
