1. Introducere
The ANENG MH12 and MH13 are advanced digital megohmmeters designed for precise measurement of insulation resistance, polarization index (PI), absorption ratio (DAR), and AC/DC voltage. These instruments are essential tools for electricians, technicians, and engineers to assess the quality and aging condition of insulation in main transformers, motors, cables, and other electrical equipment. The meters feature automatic and manual ranging, a backlit display, and data storage capabilities for efficient and reliable testing.
2. Informații de siguranță

Always adhere to safety precautions when using this meter. Improper use can result in electric shock or damage to the instrument. Read this manual thoroughly before operation.
- Ensure the meter is in good working condition before each use.
- Do not operate the meter if it appears damaged or if the test leads are compromised.
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including insulated gloves and safety glasses.
- Do not touch the test leads or the circuit under test during measurement.
- Verify that the circuit is de-energized before connecting or disconnecting test leads, unless performing live voltage measurements with extreme caution.
- The meter is rated for 1000V CAT III and 600V CAT IV. Do not exceed these voltage limite.
- Ensure batteries are correctly installed and replaced when the low battery indicator appears.
- The instrument features automatic discharge after insulation resistance tests, but always confirm the circuit is discharged before handling.

4. Configurare
4.1 Instalarea bateriei
The meter is powered by 8 AA batteries (not included). To install or replace batteries:
- Asigurați-vă că aparatul de măsură este oprit.
- Localizați compartimentul bateriei de pe spatele dispozitivului.
- Deschideți capacul compartimentului bateriei.
- Introduceți 8 baterii AA, respectând polaritatea corectă (+/-) așa cum este indicată în interiorul compartimentului.
- Închideți bine capacul compartimentului bateriei.

4.2 Connecting Test Leads and Alligator Clips
The meter comes with test leads and alligator clips for various connections.
- Align the test pen with the crocodile clip.
- Insert the test pen into the screw bayonet of the alligator clip.
- Tighten the test pen clockwise to secure the connection.
- Connect the test leads to the appropriate input terminals on the meter (LINE, EARTH, AC/DC 600V, MAX 600V).

5. Instrucțiuni de utilizare
5.1 Pornire/Oprire
- To power on the device, press and hold the red power button (
) timp de 2 secunde. - To power off, press and hold the power button again for 2 seconds. The meter also features automatic shut-down to conserve battery.

The function panel includes:
- Butonul TEST: Initiates insulation resistance tests and discharges the circuit.

- Buton SELECT: Switches between ACV and DCV modes, and other functions.
- Buton MEM READ: Accesează datele stocate.

5.3 AC/DC Voltage Măsurare

- Presa SELECTA again to switch to DC voltage (DCV) measurement.
- Connect the test leads to the circuit to be measured. For AC voltage, connect to the AC end and the G end. For DC voltage, connect to the DC end and the G end.

5.4 Măsurarea rezistenței de izolație
- Connect the test leads to both ends of the instrument and the circuit under test.
- Selectați volumul de ieșire dorittage (e.g., 50V, 100V, 250V, 500V, 1000V for MH12; 250V, 500V/1000V, 2000V/2500V for MH13).
- Apăsați tasta TEST button to initiate the measurement. The meter will automatically discharge the circuit after the test.

5.5 Polarization Index (PI) Measurement
The PI test helps judge the quality and aging problems of insulation. It is the ratio of 10-minute insulation resistance to 1-minute insulation resistance.
- Connect the meter to the equipment as for insulation resistance.
- Apăsați tasta PI/DAR button to start the PI test. The meter will automatically measure and calculate the PI value.
- Refer to the judgment standard table for interpretation:

5.6 Absorption Ratio (DAR) Measurement
The DAR test determines if equipment is affected by moisture. It is the ratio of 1-minute insulation resistance to 15-second insulation resistance.
- Connect the meter to the equipment.
- Apăsați tasta PI/DAR button (if not already in DAR mode) to start the DAR test. The meter will automatically measure and calculate the DAR value.
- Refer to the judgment standard table for interpretation:

5.7 Stocarea și reapelarea datelor
- După o măsurare, apăsați butonul ȚINE button to save the current data.
- La view datele stocate, apăsați butonul MEM READ buton.
- Use the up/down arrow buttons to navigate through the 100 groups of stored data.

5.8 Lumina de fundal
- Apăsați lung pe ȚINE button to turn on or off the LCD backlight. This feature is useful for working in dimly lit environments.

6. Întreținere
6.1 Curățare
- Ștergeți contorul cu o cârpă uscată și moale. Nu utilizați substanțe de curățare abrazive sau solvenți.
- Ensure the meter is powered off and disconnected from any circuits before cleaning.
6.2 Înlocuirea bateriei
Replace batteries promptly when the low battery indicator appears on the display to ensure accurate measurements and prevent data loss. Refer to section 4.1 for installation steps.
6.3 Depozitare
- Depozitați glucometrul într-un loc răcoros și uscat, ferit de lumina directă a soarelui și de temperaturi extreme.

7. Depanare

- Citiri inexacte: Ensure test leads are securely connected and not damaged. Verify the correct measurement mode and voltage range are selected. Clean the test points.

- Measurement errors due to leakage: Ensure proper connection of the signal shield wire to the ground end to minimize interference.
