- **FUNCTION AND RANGE SWITCH**: This switch is used to select the function and desired range, as well as to turn on the instrument. To extend the life of the battery, the switch should be in the "OFF" position when the instrument is not in use.

4. Configurare
4.1. Instalarea bateriei
The ANENG DT830B requires a 9V 6F22 battery (not included). If "BAT" appears on the display, it indicates that the battery should be replaced.
- Remove the screw from the back cover of the multimeter.

5.1. DC Voltage Măsurare
- Connect the red test lead to the "VΩmA" jack and the black test lead to the "COM" jack.
- Set the RANGE switch to the desired DC VOLTAGE position. If the voltage to be measured is not known, set the switch to the highest range and reduce it until a satisfactory reading is obtained.

5.2. AC Voltage Măsurare
- Connect the red test lead to the "VΩmA" jack and the black test lead to the "COM" jack.
- Set the RANGE switch to the desired AC VOLTAGE position (e.g., 200V or 750V).

5.3. Măsurarea rezistenței
- Connect the red test lead to the "VΩmA" jack and the black test lead to the "COM" jack.
- Set the RANGE switch to the desired OHM (Ω) position.

5.4. Măsurarea diodelor
- Connect the red test lead to the "VΩmA" jack and the black test lead to the "COM" jack.
- Set the RANGE switch to the Diode symbol (Diode) position.

5.5. Măsurarea tranzistorului (hFE)
- Set the RANGE switch to the hFE position.
- Determine whether the transistor is PNP or NPN type and locate the Emitter, Base, and Collector leads.
- Insert the leads into the proper holes of the hFE Socket on the front panel.
- The meter will display the approximate hFE value under the condition of base current 10µA and VCE 2.8V.

5.6. Măsurarea curentului continuu
WARNING: AC and DC current measurements require series connection to the circuit. Do NOT directly contact with measuring current like measuring voltage, as direct contact will burn out the instrument!
- For measurements between 200µA and 200mA, connect the red test lead to the "VΩmA" jack and the black test lead to the "COM" jack. For measurements up to 10A, connect the red test lead to the "10A" jack and the black test lead to the "COM" jack.
- Set the RANGE switch to the desired DCA (DC Current) position.
- Open the circuit to be measured and connect the test leads IN SERIES with the load.
- The current value will appear on the Digital Display.
- The 10A function is designed for intermittent use only. Maximum contact time of the test leads with the circuit is 15 seconds, with a minimum intermission time of 15 seconds between tests.

7. Întreținere
7.1. Înlocuirea bateriei și siguranțelor
Fuses rarely need replacement and blow almost always as a result of operator error. If "BAT" appears in the display, it indicates that the battery should be replaced.
To replace the battery & Fuse (500mA/250V), remove the 2 screws in the bottom of the case, simply remove the old, and replace with a new one. Be careful to observe polarity.
CAUTION: Before attempting to open the case of the instrument, be sure to disconnect test leads from any energized circuits to avoid shock hazard.
8. Depanare
If the product is not operating properly, first check the battery and fuse as described in the Maintenance section. Ensure test leads are correctly connected for the desired measurement function and range. If issues persist, refer to the official support channels.
