4. Configurare și operare de bază

4.1. Eyepiece Adjustment

Adjust the eyepiece knob (9) to focus the target for a clear view.

4.2. Pornire/Oprire

Press the POWER ON/Measurement button (1) to turn the device ON. The rangefinder will automatically shut down if there is no operation for 10 seconds to conserve battery.

4.3. Display extern

Short press the External display switch button (6) to toggle the external display ON/OFF. Long press the External display switch button (6) to turn the display screen backlight ON/OFF. The default setting is with the display screen backlight off.

4.4. Schimbarea unității

Press and hold the MODE button (2) for 3 seconds to switch between measurement units (meters 'm' or yards 'yd').

4.5. Instrucțiuni de încărcare

If the rangefinder indicates a low battery, use the original USB cable to charge the device via the USB charging port (10).

5. Moduri de operare

After powering on, the default mode is Line mode. Short press the MODE button (2) to cycle through the different measurement modes. Press the POWER ON/Measurement button (1) again to initiate a measurement; the target mark will flash during measurement.

5.1. Line Distance Mode

Measures the linear distance from the rangefinder to the target point.

5.2. Horizontal Distance Mode

Measures the horizontal distance from the rangefinder to the target point.

5.3. Vertical Distance Mode

Measures the vertical distance (height) from the rangefinder to the target point.

Figure 9: Vertical Distance Mode in action.

5.4. Height Difference Mode

In this mode, the rangefinder measures the height difference between two points. The upper mark "1" flashes for the first point measurement. Once the first target distance is acquired, mark "1" stops flashing and mark "2" flashes for the second point. After acquiring the second target distance, the height difference between the two points is displayed. The process then loops back to "1" flashing.

5.5. Golf Mode (Flagstick Locking & Slope Adjusted)

This advanced mode is designed to easily capture the flagstick, preventing erroneous detection of stronger background targets like trees. To use, align the target mark with the flagstick, then long press the measurement button (scanning). Slowly move the target mark on the flagstick or object until a circle appears outside the flagstick and the rangefinder vibrates. If multiple objects are detected (e.g., flagstick and background trees), the rangefinder will display the distance to the flagstick (the closer object) with a circle and vibration.

The slope compensated range provides guidance on how to play the shot, adding distance for inclines and subtracting for declines.

When the Slope switch (7) is turned ON, only the Slope Mode is available. When the Slope switch is OFF, all functions are available except Slope Mode.

5.6. Mod de vânătoare

This mode is optimized for hunting scenarios.

5.7. Modul Viteză

Measures the speed of a moving target. Keep pressing the Measurement button (1) to scan and move the target mark along with the target being measured.
