1. Instalarea bateriei
The RAPT Bluetooth Thermometer requires two AAA batteries (not included). To install:

3. App Download & Pairing
To utilize the full functionality of the RAPT Thermometer, download the RAPT app and pair it with your device:
- Download the RAPT app from Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS).
- Follow the in-app instructions to pair your RAPT Bluetooth Thermometer with your smartphone or other RAPT-enabled devices (e.g., BrewZilla Gen 4, RAPT Temperature Controllers, RAPT Fermentation Chambers).

- Silicone Backing: The redesigned silicone backing allows you to hook the unit over the side of a boiler or fermenter for convenient placement.
- Lid Clips: For a more secure option, loop the silicone backing onto lid clips (available on some BrewZilla models) to firmly hold the unit in place.
- Atașament magnetic: The unit also features a magnet on the back, allowing it to attach to steel surfaces (note: it will not attach to stainless steel).

Press the main button on the front of the unit to turn it on. The display will show the current temperature. To turn off, press and hold the button until the display turns off, or allow it to auto-off.
2. Temperature Display & Units
The LCD screen displays the temperature. The contrast has been optimized for better readability. To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F):

- Unplug the temperature probe from the unit. The screen will display "OPn" (Open circuit error).
- Double-click the main button. The display will cycle between °C and °F.

The thermometer has an adjustable auto-off timer to conserve battery life. To adjust:

1. Curatenie
The stainless steel probe and its Teflon-coated braided cable are waterproof and can be submerged in liquid. Clean them with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly after each use. The main thermometer unit is NOT waterproof; do not submerge it in liquid. Wipe the main unit with a damp pânză dacă este necesar.

Replace the AAA batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display or when the unit fails to power on. Using good quality batteries can provide over six months of continuous usage.

For brewing, place one in the core of the malt pipe and another near the heating element. - Plasare sigură: The improved silicone backing is designed to hook securely over the rim of your BrewZilla or other vessels. For even greater stability, use the lid clips on compatible BrewZilla models to firmly attach the thermometer.
- Continuous Logging: If you need to log temperatures over extended periods (e.g., several days for fermentation or greenhouse monitoring), remember to set the auto-off timer to continuous mode ("--") to prevent the unit from shutting down.
