3. Configurare

Once the device has completed its warm-up and you have selected the desired sensitivity, you can begin detecting gas leaks.

  • Detection Process: Slowly move the sensor tip of the detector close to areas where you suspect a gas leak, such as gas pipelines, appliance connections, or gas storage tanks.
  • Interpreting Alerts:
    • If gas is detected, the device will emit an audible alarm (75dB) and the visual bar graph on the LCD will increase, turning red at higher concentrations.
    • The response time is approximately 0.5 to 2 seconds.
  • Action on Detection: If a gas leak is detected, immediately turn off the gas supply, open windows and doors for ventilation, and evacuate the area. Do not operate electrical switches or phones. Contact your gas provider or emergency services.
