4. Informații importante privind siguranța

  • This device is designed to detect flammable gases. It is not a substitute for proper ventilation or professional gas leak inspection.
  • Always follow local safety regulations and guidelines when dealing with gas appliances and systems.

5. Configurare

5.1 Instalarea bateriei

  1. Localizați capacul compartimentului bateriei pe spatele dispozitivului.
  2. Deschideți capacul și introduceți cele două baterii AAA, asigurându-vă că polaritatea este corectă (+/-).
  3. Închideți bine capacul compartimentului bateriei.

5.2 Pornirea inițială

Press and hold the power button (red button) for approximately 2 seconds to turn on the device. The device will enter a preheating phase.

6. Funcționare

6.1 Preîncălzire

After powering on, the detector requires approximately 30 seconds to preheat. During this time, the display may show a countdown or a warming-up indicator. Wait until the preheating is complete before proceeding with detection.

6.2 Selecting Sensitivity Mode

The HT60 offers two sensitivity modes:

  • Mod de sensibilitate ridicată: Detects gas concentrations between 50-500 PPM. Ideal for pinpointing small leaks.
  • Low Sensitivity Mode: Detects gas concentrations between 500-1000 PPM. Suitable for general area scanning.

Press the 'S' button (green button) to toggle between high and low sensitivity modes. The current mode will be indicated on the LCD display.

6.3 Detectarea gazelor

Once preheating is complete, hold the detector with the sensor tip close to the area where a gas leak is suspected (e.g., gas pipes, appliance connections, valves).

Move the sensor tip slowly along the suspected leak path. The optimal detection distance is between 0.4 to 2.0 inches (1-5 cm) from the source.

6.4 Indicarea alarmei

If a gas leak is detected:

  • The LCD display will turn red.
  • An audible alarm will sound. The alarm tone will increase in frequency and volume as the gas concentration rises.

In case of an alarm, immediately ventilate the area, turn off gas sources if safe to do so, and investigate the source of the leak. Do not ignore gas alarms.

6.5 Oprire automată

The device will automatically power off after 5 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life. To restart, press and hold the power button.
