2. Informații de siguranță

3.2 Plasarea
Choose a location that is level, dry, and well-ventilated. Avoid direct sunlight or proximity to heat sources like ovens or radiators. Ensure there is sufficient space around the refrigerator for the doors to open fully and for proper air circulation.
- Distanțe minime: Allow at least 10 cm (4 inches) at the back and sides, and 30 cm (12 inches) at the top for optimal performance.
3.3 Nivelare
The refrigerator must be level for proper operation. Adjust the leveling feet located at the bottom front of the appliance by turning them clockwise to raise or counter-clockwise to lower. Use a spirit level to ensure the appliance is perfectly level.

After placement and leveling, plug the refrigerator into a dedicated, grounded 127 Volt electrical outlet. Allow the refrigerator to stand for at least 2-4 hours before loading food to allow the refrigerant to settle and the interior to cool down to the desired temperature.

4.1 Controlul temperaturii
Your refrigerator is equipped with a temperature control dial, typically located inside the fresh food compartment. Turn the dial to adjust the cooling intensity. A higher number usually indicates a colder setting. Start with a medium setting and adjust as needed based on ambient temperature and food load.

4.3 Dezghețare manuală
This refrigerator features a manual defrost system. Frost buildup in the freezer compartment is normal and should be removed periodically to maintain efficiency. Defrost when frost accumulation reaches approximately 0.6 cm (1/4 inch) thickness.
- Preparare: Remove all food items from the freezer and store them in a cooler. Unplug the refrigerator from the power outlet.
- Decongelarea: Leave the freezer door open. Place towels on the floor to absorb melting ice. You can place a pan of hot water inside the freezer to speed up the process, but do not use sharp objects or heating devices to remove ice.
