4. Configurare

1. Preparare: Ensure your work area is well-ventilated and protected with drop cloths. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety goggles, gloves, and a respirator if necessary.
2. Pregatirea materialului: Prepare your paint or stain according to the manufacturer's instructions. Many materials may require thinning to achieve the optimal viscosity for spraying. Use a viscosity cup (not included) to test the material's flow time.
3. Fill Material Cup: Unscrew the material cup from the sprayer unit. Pour the prepared paint or stain into the cup, ensuring not to overfill. The cup has a 1-1/2 quart capacity. Securely reattach the material cup to the sprayer unit.
4. Reglarea duzei: The HVLP nozzle can be adjusted for different spray patterns. Rotate the air cap to select between vertical, horizontal, or cone spray patterns based on your application needs.

5. Instrucțiuni de utilizare

1. Spray de testare: Before spraying your project, always perform a test spray on a piece of scrap material to check the spray pattern and material flow. Adjust the nozzle and material flow knob as needed.
2. Holding the Sprayer: Hold the sprayer approximately 6-12 inches from the surface, keeping it perpendicular to the surface to ensure even coverage.
3. Tehnica de pulverizare: Press the two-finger trigger to activate the sprayer. Use smooth, even strokes, overlapping each pass by about 50% to avoid streaks and ensure uniform application. Release the trigger at the end of each pass.
4. Controlul fluxului de materiale: The sprayer features a material flow adjustment knob, typically located near the trigger. Turn the knob to increase or decrease the amount of material being sprayed.

6. Întreținere și curățare

Proper cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and optimal performance of your sprayer. Clean the unit immediately after each use.

1. Empty Material: Disconnect power. Empty any remaining paint or stain from the material cup back into its original container.
2. Clătire inițială: Fill the material cup with an appropriate cleaning solution (water for latex/water-based materials, mineral spirits for oil-based materials). Spray the cleaning solution through the nozzle into a waste container until the spray runs clear.
3. Demontare și curățare: Disassemble the nozzle assembly and material cup. Thoroughly clean all parts that came into contact with paint or stain using the appropriate cleaning solution and a brush. Pay special attention to the nozzle, air cap, and fluid tube.
