3. Configurare

3.1 Despachetarea și inspecția

Carefully unpack the electronic load and its accessories. Verify that all components listed in the packing list are present and undamaged. If any items are missing or damaged, contact your supplier immediately.

3.2 Conexiune la alimentare

  1. Asigurați-vă că întrerupătorul de alimentare de pe panoul din spate este în poziția OPRIT.
  2. Verify the AC input voltage selector switch on the rear panel matches your local mains voltage (110V or 220V). Adjust if necessary.
  3. Connect the supplied AC power cord to the AC INPUT receptacle on the rear panel (refer to Figure 2.3).
  4. Conectați celălalt capăt al cablului de alimentare la o priză de curent alternativ cu împământare.

3.3 Conexiune de încărcare

Connect the device under test (DUT) to the input terminals on the front panel. Ensure correct polarity: connect the positive (+) terminal of the DUT to the positive (+) input of the electronic load, and the negative (-) terminal of the DUT to the negative (-) input of the electronic load.

For applications requiring high accuracy, especially with long connection cables, utilize the remote sensing terminals on the rear panel (refer to Figure 2.3). Connect the remote sensing wires directly to the DUT's output terminals to compensate for voltage drop across the load cables.

3.4 Interfețe de comunicare

The MP71025B supports USB, RS232, and LAN communication. Connect the appropriate cable from the electronic load's rear panel to your computer or network device for remote control and data logging. Install the necessary drivers and software provided on the included CD or available from the manufacturer's website-ul.

4. Instrucțiuni de utilizare

4.1 Operare de bază

  1. Turn on the power switch on the rear panel. The display will illuminate.
  2. Apăsați tasta PUTERE button on the front panel to activate the load.
  3. Select the desired operating mode (CC, CV, CR, CW) using the dedicated buttons on the front panel.
  4. Use the rotary encoders or the numeric keypad to set the desired load parameters (e.g., current in CC mode, voltage in CV mode).
  5. Presa Intră pentru a confirma setarea.

4.2 Moduri de operare

  • Constant Current (CC) Mode: The load draws a constant current regardless of the input voltage. Ideal for battery discharge testing.
  • Vol. Constanttage (CV) Mode: The load maintains a constant voltage across its terminals by adjusting the current drawn. Useful for power supply testing.
  • Constant Resistance (CR) Mode: The load simulates a constant resistance. The current drawn is proportional to the input voltage.
  • Constant Power (CW) Mode: The load draws a constant power, meaning the product of voltage and current remains constant.

4.3 Funcții avansate

  • Test baterie: Use this function to perform automated battery discharge tests. Refer to the detailed programming guide for setting up test parameters like discharge current, cut-off voltage, and duration.
  • Modul dinamic: Simulate transient load conditions with adjustable frequency and duty cycle up to 10KHz. Press the DINAMIC button to access these settings.
  • Test de scurtcircuit: Activate the short circuit function to test the DUT's response to a short circuit condition.
  • Memory Functions (M1-M5, Save, Call): Store and recall up to 100 sets of frequently used test parameters. Use the SALVA button to store current settings and APEL to retrieve them.
  • Protection Functions (OPP, OCP): The unit includes built-in Over Power Protection and Over Current Protection to safeguard both the load and the DUT.

5. Întreținere

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Multicomp Pro MP71025B DC Electronic Load, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Keep the unit clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning the exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure proper ventilation. Do not block the ventilation openings on the sides and rear of the unit (refer to Figure 2.5 and 2.6).
  • Regularly check power cords and connection cables for any signs of damage. Replace damaged cables immediately.
  • The internal fuse is user-replaceable. If the unit does not power on, check the fuse located near the AC input on the rear panel. Ensure to replace it with a fuse of the same type and rating (refer to the specifications).
  • Avoid operating the unit in environments with excessive humidity, extreme temperatures, or corrosive gases.
