3. Configurare

3.1. Instalarea bateriilor

Your thermometer requires 2 AAA batteries, which are included. To install:

  1. Locate the battery cover at the bottom of the handle.

3.2. Selecting Temperature Unit (°C/°F)

Ensure the thermometer is in 'Body' mode (indicated on the display).

  1. Point the thermometer sensor towards the center of the forehead, maintaining a distance of 1 to 2 inches (2.5 to 5 cm).
  2. Press the On/Scan button.
  3. The temperature reading will appear on the LCD display within one second.
  4. The display backlight color will indicate the temperature status: Green for normal, Orange for elevated, and Red for high fever.

4.2. Taking Object/Room Temperature

Ensure the thermometer is in 'Object' mode (indicated on the display).

  1. Point the thermometer sensor towards the object or area you wish to measure.
  2. Press the On/Scan button.

4.3. Reamintirea memoriei

The thermometer stores the last 50 temperature readings. To access them:

  • With the thermometer powered on, press the MEMO button.
  • Each press will cycle through the stored readings, from most recent to oldest.

To ensure accurate readings and hygiene, clean the thermometer regularly:

  • Wipe the thermometer body with a soft, damp pânză.
  • For the sensor lens, use a cotton swab lightly moistened with alcohol. Allow to dry completely before use.
