The SOCOTRAN T80 is a PMR446 license-free two-way radio designed for reliable communication. It features 8 channels, 98 privacy codes, VOX hands-free operation, an LED flashlight, and an LCD with backlight. This manual provides instructions for proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your T80 walkie-talkie.

4. Ghid de instalare

4.1. Instalarea bateriei

1. Asigurați-vă că stația walkie-talkie este oprită.

3. Slide the battery cover latch (if present) or gently pry open the cover.
4. Insert the Li-ion battery into the compartment, ensuring the contacts align correctly with the radio's terminals.

4.2. Încărcarea bateriei

Before first use, fully charge the battery. The T80 walkie-talkie uses a desktop charger.

1. Connect the charger adapter to a power outlet and the USB charging cable to the desktop charger.
2. Place the walkie-talkie into the desktop charger, ensuring the charging contacts on the radio align with those on the charger. The charging indicator light will illuminate.
3. Alternatively, you can remove the battery and place it directly into the charging buckle on the desktop charger.

4.3. Attaching Accessories (Belt Clip, Hand Strap)

5.1. Pornire/Oprire și Reglare Volum

Rotiți Power Switch / Volume Adjust Knob (7) clockwise to power on the radio. Continue rotating to increase volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease volume and power off.

5.2. Selectarea canalului

Apăsați tasta MENIU button (10) to enter the menu. Use the Selectați Chei (5) to navigate to the channel setting. Press MENIU again to confirm your selection. The T80 has 8 available channels.

5.3. Transmitere și Recepție (PTT)

Pentru a transmite, apăsați și mențineți apăsat butonul Buton PTT (2) and speak clearly into the Microfon (12). Release the PTT button to receive. Ensure you are on the same channel and privacy code as the other party.

5.4. Funcția VOX (mâini libere)

The VOX function allows transmission without pressing the PTT button. To activate/deactivate VOX and adjust sensitivity:

To set privacy codes:

2. Utilizați Selectați Chei (5) to choose the desired code (01-38 for CTCSS, 01-60 for DCS).
3. Presa MENIU to confirm. Both radios must be set to the same channel and privacy code to communicate.
