This manual provides instructions for the installation and use of the VANTRUE USB Hardwire Kit. This kit is designed to provide a continuous power supply to your compatible dash cam or other devices, enabling features such as 24-hour parking surveillance and protecting your vehicle's battery from excessive discharge.

Follow these steps for proper installation of the hardwire kit:

Once installed, the hardwire kit will automatically provide power to your connected device based on your wiring choice:

• Constant Power Connection (for Parking Surveillance): If connected to a constant power source, the dash cam will receive continuous power, enabling 24-hour parking surveillance features (if supported by the dash cam).
• ACC Power Connection: If connected to an ACC power source, the dash cam will power on when the vehicle's ignition is in the ACC ON position and power off when the engine is turned off.

The hardwire kit includes an integrated low voltage protection feature to safeguard your vehicle's battery. If the vehicle battery voltage drops below a preset threshold (11.6V for 12V systems or 23.2V for 24V systems), the kit will automatically cut power to the connected device. 1. Parking surveillance mode utilizes the vehicle's constant power, which places a load on the vehicle battery. Regular inspection of your vehicle battery is recommended.
2. Refrain from using parking surveillance mode if: you do not drive daily; daily driving is less than 1 hour; or your vehicle battery has been used for over 1 year, as this may lead to vehicle battery drain.
3. After using parking surveillance mode, the vehicle battery voltage may be low. Always start the engine to recharge the vehicle battery. Failure to do so may result in battery drain.
4. This product is not compatible with electric vehicles.
5. Improper installation can cause damage to the product or your vehicle. If you are unsure about the installation process, consult a professional.
