- Disconnect Vehicle Antenna: Disconnect the vehicle antenna from behind the radio.
- Connect Modulator Antenna Input: Connect the male antenna from the FM modulator to the radio. (If an antenna adapter is needed, purchase one separately).
- Connect Modulator Antenna Output: Connect the female antenna lead from the FM modulator to the antenna coming out from the dash. (If an antenna adapter is needed, purchase one separately).
- Conectați cablul negru: Connect the black wire from the FM modulator to ground.
- Connect Red Wire: Connect the red wire to a 12-volt accessory wire (one that has 12 volts when the key is turned to the "ON" position).
- Optional In-line Switch Connection: If using the optional in-line switch, connect the two wires from the switch to the red power wire of the modulator. This allows manual control of the modulator's power. The toggle switch must be placed between the in-line fuse holder and the FM modulator.
- Connect RCA Audio Jacks: Connect the RCA audio jacks from your source device to the corresponding RCA inputs on the side of the FM modulator.
- Select FM Frequency: Select the FM modulator frequency on the side of the modulator that you want to use, either 87.9 MHz or 88.3 MHz.
Operațiunea
- Turn the key to the "ON" position in your vehicle.
- Tune your car radio to the frequency that you selected on the modulator (87.9 MHz or 88.3 MHz).
- Turn on the audio source you want to play through the radio.
- The FM modulator is an "Audio Sensing" device, which means it will automatically activate and turn on when there is audio present on the RCA inputs. The optional toggle switch provides manual control; if used, ensure it is in the "ON" position for the modulator to function.
