5. Configurare

There are two primary methods to set up your D-Link DAP-1530: using the WPS button or using the D-Link Wi-Fi app.

1. Plug the DAP-1530 into a power outlet near your wireless router.

Method 2: D-Link Wi-Fi App Setup

For a guided setup experience, use the D-Link Wi-Fi mobile app.

1. Download the D-Link Wi-Fi app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
2. Plug the DAP-1530 into a power outlet near your wireless router.
3. Open the D-Link Wi-Fi app and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device.
4. The app will guide you through connecting the extender to your existing Wi-Fi network.
5. Once setup is complete, unplug the DAP-1530 and move it to an optimal location.

• Relocate the extender. Use the Smart Signal Indicator to find an optimal location where the signal from your router is strong (solid green). The extender should be placed roughly halfway between your router and the area needing extended coverage.
• Ensure there are no major obstructions (e.g., thick walls, large metal objects, microwave ovens) between the extender and your router.

Resetting the Extender to Factory Defaults
