Instalarea bateriei
The Physio Logic Digital 10 Thermometer comes with one product-specific battery included and pre-installed. If the battery needs replacement, carefully open the battery compartment located at the end opposite the tip. Insert a new battery, ensuring correct polarity, and securely close the compartment.
Initial Power-On and Unit Selection
- Press the power button to turn on the thermometer. A short beep will sound, and the display will show all segments briefly, followed by the last measured temperature.
- To switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C), ensure the thermometer is off. Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until the unit changes on the display. Release the button to set the desired unit.

- Place the thermometer tip according to the desired measurement method:
- Utilizare orală: Place the tip under the tongue, as close to the heat pocket as possible. Keep mouth closed.

- Utilizare rectală: Apply a water-soluble lubricant to the tip. Gently insert the tip no more than 1/2 inch into the rectum.
- Hold the thermometer in place until the peak temperature is reached, indicated by a series of beeps (approximately 10 seconds).

Store the thermometer in its handy storage case when not in use. Keep it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the thermometer is clean and dry before storing.
